Colorado to get largest US solar panel plant, 355 new jobs.

GE Energy has announced that they will spend $600 million dollars to build the nation’s largest solar power plant in 2013 – Though the site is yet to be chosen. 

The plant will produce panels with cadmium telluride thin film cells, for their cost effectiveness. The solar panels will be available to commercial and utility consumers.

GE expects the plant will employee 355 Colorado workers by 2013.
